WHAT

• • A FREE clinic hosted by Independence High’s Ultimate Frisbee team: Flight.  Players will learn the basics of Ultimate Frisbee from IHS Flight coaches and senior players.  Boys and girls will participate in drills and scrimmages both separately and together.

WHO

• • 8th – 12th boys AND girls who are interested in learning more about Ultimate Frisbee and Flight.

New in 2025 is the Middle School frisbee league. Open to all players in 6th-8th grade, we will have practices every Tuesday from 5:30-6:30 at Sarah Benson Park in Thompsons Station.

League will run from September 9th to November 2nd. There will be 2-3 scrimmages against other area middle school teams (dates/times TBD), with a season ending tournament for all teams at the University School of Nashville.

Our team will be coached by Nate Hansen, a former FLIGHT player and FLIGHT captain, who is extremely passionate about the sport and teaching kids of all skill levels.
